You scan a stack of pages, open the PDF, and half of them are sideways. Viewers let you rotate the view, but the file itself is still wrong when you send it. Rotating the PDF saves the fix permanently.
Rotate the view vs. rotate the file
Tilting your head — or pressing rotate in a viewer — only changes how you see it. The recipient still gets sideways pages. To fix it for everyone, you have to rotate and re-save the PDF.
Rotate without uploading
Scanned documents are often private. This tool rewrites the file on your device — nothing is uploaded:
- Rotate PDF — turn all pages 90°, 180° or 270° and download the corrected file.
Tips
- 90° fixes a landscape scan that came out portrait (or vice versa); 180° fixes upside-down pages.
- Pages rotate together. If only some pages are wrong, split them out first, rotate, then merge back.
- Rotating does not reduce quality — it only changes page orientation.
